Unveiling a rockstar’s photographic talent

Design for a Rockstar. “Exposed” is the first monograph by the famous singer Bryan Adams, known for the rock classic Summer of ‘69. The book features Adams portraits of friends and colleagues in the entertainment, fashion, and art worlds, including Morrisey, Ben Kingsley, Amy Winehouse, Judi Dench, and Mick Jagger.

Exposed

We worked on the book with Bryan and Zoo Magazine’s creative director Sandor Lubbe for more than four years until it was perfect. Selecting hundreds of photos took place at Bryan's London home as well as at our Amsterdam studio. The photos are alternately page-filling or white-framed, creating a nice flow in the book. “Exposed” exposes not only unknown facets of his subjects but also the depth of Adams’ photographic qualities.
Now some of his best shots – including ones of Mick Jagger, Morrissey and Amy Winehouse – have been compiled in his first book, Bryan Adams Exposed. Still, the multi-talented artist remains modest. “I’m not quitting the day job,” he says.
